Inuit© was launched on November 1, 2013, on Karnataka Rajyotsava Day
The launch event was started by Chief Technology Officer of Inuit, Sharath Punthambekar by welcoming their invitees & after a brief introduction of the Chief Key Note Speaker Mr Srinivas M Jamkhandi, Director (Dy Secretary), Ministry of MSME, Government of India & followed by a remote launch speech by Inuit CEO Mr Narasimhan M H from Mumbai.
Mr Srinivas M Jamkhandi Director (Dy Secretary), Ministry of MSME, Government of India, launched the business process application software on cloud, Inuit© (Pronounced "I Knew It") & declared the official launch by connecting to the on-line & on completion of the lighting the lamp. He explained how by automating SMEs the GDP growth improves.
In his talk he assured the audience consisting of friends, technology peers, franchisees & customers, that Govt. of India will consider to provide up to 75% of the total cost of the software implementation as a refund to SMEs by Govt of India from Ministry of MSME, for SMEs implementing Inuit©.
Mr Srinivas M Jamakhandi, Director (Dy. Secretary), Ministry of MSME, explained to the gathering, how SMEs can automate & improve their operations by using Inuit©. He also narrated different schemes launched by the ministry of MSME and made a detailed presentation of how Government of India (GOI) is creating the revolution by giving incentives to SMEs. He assured Inuit team that his MSME ministry will provide all the help required for Inuit© with his recommendations for subsidizing the subscription through GOI initiatives. Mr Srinivas appreciated the depth of details which Inuit© provides along with the easy navigation and quick learning curve for the users. The biggest plus was his statement that “Inuit© is meant for Indian SMEs!”
Mr Sharath Punthambekar, CTO of Inuit Cloud Technologies Pvt. Ltd., welcomed the gathering and explained how with his friend Mr M H Narasimhan of over 4 decades, he started the journey of Inuit Cloud Technologies Pvt. Ltd.. He narrated the reason for creating the 12 to 15 critical areas for SMEs to quickly automate & become productive. The challenges faced by SMEs were listed during Mr Sharath’s presentation and he covered extensively the advantages of having Inuit© to manage the SMEs operations. The live demonstration on cloud was explained to the gathering in detail and the audience were introduced how quickly the user can learn to use in less than half a day.
Mr M H Narasimhan, CEO of Inuit Cloud Technologies Pvt. Ltd., connected from Mumbai, on-line via Skype, and as an angel investor explained the how after retiring as CEO from RPG Life Sciences, he noticed the potential of approach of Inuit© solution on cloud for SMEs. He said that Inuit© is on the path of creating a business revolution for SMEs in India & other countries in the world.
Mr Collin Timms, Chairman of Guardian Bank, assured Inuit, that he would recommend implementing to all his over 1600 SME NGOs & other customers Inuit©.
Mr Gautham Balasubramanya, Research Fellow and Programme Lead of Institute of Productivity, UK, announced their collaboration with Inuit to make the certified education programme which NOCN validates and is endorsed by World Productivity Governing Body (WCPS) will work with Inuit©. This would mean small enterprises are educated in business improvement with Inuit© as the key feature. Gautham of IOP, further highlighted that the collaboration of IOP & Inuit© a World-class software aimed specifically at MSMEs will help them gain control of their business, stabilizing them, ready for growth with a World-class approach to improving their productivity and performance, building in that control and stability, allowing them to grow and thrive. Inuit© & IOP is, therefore, a route to reaching world-class levels of performance, to achieving operational excellence.
All the invitees appreciated the functions, features & easy to use screens of Inuit©. The launch ended with Sharath Punthambekar giving an on-line demo of all the features after answering the questions from the audience section & with a buffet lunch.
