3. Lockheed Martin Corporation, Texas, USA

Dr Ray Johnson, CTO, of Lockheed Martin, himself being a creative engineer was impressed with the technology stack chosen for Inuit© and simplicity in the solutions approach. In the evaluation round which he was heading the answers given by CTO Mr Sharath Punthambekar impressed him so much that Inuit© was selected as top 5 innovative solutions that “Must be Commercialized”.

4. Global Commercialization Group, IC2 Institute, University of Texas, Austin

The evaluation was a two-step process. One was the regulatory and India specific: The innovator, organization & application or innovation has to be ratified by Government of India, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and the Innovation has to be cleared by USA agencies, Lockheed Martin, Texas, USA for technology, IC2  Institute, Austin, USA for the commercialization viability report called Quick Report for the innovation and Indo-US Science & Technology Forum for validating FICCI’s recommendations. 

Technology & Commercial viability were both cleared by USA agencies, with the highest rating for Inuit©  as “Must be Commercialized”.

The IC2  Institute was established at The University of Texas at Austin in 1977, as a think-and-do tank to explore the broad economic, technological, and human factors that drive economic development in regions. On the think side, IC2  is focused on innovation and entrepreneurship in small or remote cities outside major urban corridors. As a do tank, IC2  creates programs that aim to have a positive impact on the world. In the U.S. and worldwide, the institute will continue to implement initiatives that lead to impactful and sustainable growth for communities and regions.

With this achievement for Inuit© , Mr Sharath Punthambekar bagged the prestigious India Innovation Award as one of the twenty selected Indians for Inuit©  innovation. A cash award and A Gold Medal! Mr Sharath Punthambekar holds the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) of Inuit©.

5. Indo American Science & Technology Forum (IUSSTF), Government of India

Inuit© was selected by Indo American Science & Technology Forum for the outstanding innovation to help MSME & SMEs not only in India but also for small organizations in other countries too!

During the evaluation round Mr Punthambekar was asked when do you plan to launch Inuit© in USA?. He answered after launching in India & Karnataka first in his home state! This was achieved on November 1, 2013, the state day of Karnataka!

The governments of the United States of America (through the Department of State) and India (through the Department of Science & Technology) have established the United States–India Science & Technology Endowment Fund (USISTEF) for the promotion of joint activities that would lead to innovation and entrepreneurship through the application of science and technology.

6. National Skill Development Centre (NSDC), Government of India, India.

Inuit© is partnered with NSDC for imparting skills for implementors of Inuit© across India.

National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) is a not-for-profit public limited company incorporated on July 31, 2008 under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 (corresponding to section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013). NSDC was set up by Ministry of Finance as Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. The Government of India through Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) holds 49% of the share capital of NSDC, while the private sector has the balance 51% of the share capital.

NSDC aims to promote skill development by catalyzing creation of large, quality and for-profit vocational institutions. Further, the organisation provides funding to build scalable and profitable vocational training initiatives. Its mandate is also to enable support system which focuses on quality assurance, information systems and train the trainer academies either directly or through partnerships. NSDC acts as a catalyst in skill development by providing funding to enterprises, companies and organizations that provide skill training. It also develops appropriate models to enhance, support and coordinate private sector initiatives. The differentiated focus on 21 sectors under NSDC’s purview and its understanding of their viability will make every sector attractive to private investment.

7. Global Incubations Services (GINSERV)

Inuit was recommended by Government of India to take up incubator space in GINSERV in Bangalore. Inuit located their development centre in Bengaluru in GINSERV.

Global INcubation SERVices (GINSERV) is a Technology Business Incubator (TBI) and a business accelerator operating from Bangalore. The company has been promoted by JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysore, one of India’s modernistic educational organization, with the support of National Science & Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB), Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India.
